8. Technical Courses

Are you looking to expand your dive time? Maybe you're a scientific diver or photographer looking to stay in the water a little longer? The Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 percent within your current certification level to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives that do not require staged decompression.

Cost: $ 499.00
This course is a combination of Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures classes taught together. It reduced the minimum number of dives from 8 to 6 by combining some of the fundamentals for both classes. The Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 percent within your current certification level to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives that do not require staged decompression. The Decompression Procedures Course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving. With a maximum operating depth of 45 metres/150 feet, this course is your first step beyond the normal sport diving limits. The Decompression Procedures Course combined with the Advanced Nitrox course form the foundation of all other technical courses. After these two courses and some additional experience, the stage has been set for you to move onto additional technical levels.

Cost: $ 999.00
The Advanced Trimix Diver Course is the top level of training for open circuit divers wishing to dive to depths as deep as 100 metres/330 feet utilizing hypoxic levels of oxygen (below 17 percent). This course is perhaps one of the most informative and challenging of all of the technical open circuit courses. Upon completion, you will be among some of the most elite divers, capable of doing and seeing more while diving than any other divers out there.

Cost: $ 1,999.00
Are you finding your no- decompression limits (NDLs) a limiting factor to dives? Do you have to ascend sooner than you would like? As sport divers, planned decompression is not something that we do or have been taught. The Decompression Procedures Course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving

Cost: $ 499.00
The Helitrox Diver Course examines the theory, methods, and procedures for planning staged decompression dives utilizing helium in the breathing mixture to reduce the effects of inert gas narcosis.

Cost: $ 499.00
The Intro to Tech Course is an introductory course that expands on recreational training by improving dive planning methods, in-water skills, and streamlining existing gear configurations in a controlled and fun learning environment.

Cost: $ 499.00
Are you an open circuit technical diver looking to cross over to the ?silent? side? Or maybe you are a CCR Air Diluent Diver looking to progress to the next level? Either way, the CCR Air Diluent Decompression Course is the next step.Using the latest technology in CCR?s can maximize your gas supply and provide an optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen. Like having a blending station on your back, a CCR is the ultimate tool for technical divers. During this course, your Instructor will teach you all of the necessary skills to conduct decompression CCR dives to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet using air diluent.

Cost: $ 2,000.00
The Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Air Diluent Diver Course is your first step into closed circuit rebreather diving and your first truly quiet dive experience!Using the latest technology in CCRs can maximize your gas supply and provide an optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen. It?s like having a nitrox blending machine on your back!

Cost: $ 2,000.00
Are you looking to expand your depth range? Do you want to reduce narcosis during deep dives? TheTrimix Diver Course could be your next step! As your motivation to explore progresses, you will find that you may want to go deeper to dive that wreck that is part of history or that cave system that you have read so much about. One of the major limiting factors of going deeper is narcosis; the Trimix Diver course shows how to minimize the effects of narcosis by adding helium to offset the nitrogen in your breathing gas. While taking the Trimix Diver course your technical Instructor will teach you how to plan and execute dives utilizing as little as 18 percent oxygen and diving to maximum depth of 60 metres/200 feet with a blend of helium appropriate for the planned depth.

Cost: $ 1,499.00

This is the second level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for mixed gas diving using a Helitrox Diluent. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills, to a maximum of 45 metres/150 feet, using an air/nitrox/helium diluent for formal decompression diving. Students are permitted to utilize a diluent and bailout mix with no greater than a 35% helium content and no less than a 21% oxygen content, and are permitted to use up to 100% oxygen for decompression.

Cost: $ 1,495.00
As a CCR Air Diluent Decompression or Helitrox Diluent Decompression Diver, the Mixed Gas CCR Diver course is your next step into closed circuit rebreather diving, it is your opportunity to explore a little deeper. Using the latest in technology CCR?s maximize your gas supply and provide the optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen (PPO2). During the dives your Rebreather Instructor will teach you all the necessary skills to conduct CCR dives utilizing helium as a diluent gas and oxygen levels as low as 16 percent to a maximum depth of 60 metres/200 feet.
